Join the Directory
To be listed in the MWO Business Directory, your business must meet three criteria:

1  Conduct business in Greater Boston
2  Be at least 51% minority or woman owned
3  Be certified by one of the four agencies listed on this page



What is the process for getting listed?
1) Complete Your Profile
Creating a profile is a powerful marketing tool for your business. The information you provide will be what is listed in the directory and will enable large corporations and other organizations to contact you directly for your services.

2) Get Certified
You must be certified by one of the four agencies listed on this page. If you are already certified, please fax your certification letter to 617.442.0562 (Attn: Small Business Enterprise). If you are not yet certified, please contact one of the listed agencies to begin the certification process.

3) Get Listed
Once you have completed your online profile and we have received a copy of your certification letter, you will be notified that your listing is live at mwobusiness.com. Your business will be listed in the Directory within 10 business days of receipt of your completed materials. Once your business is listed, you are invited to update your company profile as needed.
Search Results
Certification validates the fact that a business is actually owned, controlled, and operated by the applicants, that it is a minority or woman owned business. In the business world, certification can operate as a marketing tool that brings your business to the next level. Being certified can help you increase your visibility, compete more successfully for contracts, take advantage of special programs and resources, and build supplier relationships with larger corporations.
